Volunteers sought to assist at robotics workshops at the Napa Main Library

(NAPA, Calif--) Are you interested in working with children? Do you enjoy constructing creations with LEGO®s? Do you enjoy serving your community? If so, consider becoming a volunteer! All volunteers will need to attend the one-hour LEGO® robotics workshop training session on Saturday, August 9, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Napa Main Library, 580 Coombs Street in Napa. Teens are encouraged to apply. The subsequent workshops take place from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For additional information, to register for the training session, or to volunteer, please contact Dawn Boggs at (707) 253-4819, or dawn.boggs@countyofnapa.org.
Staff from the Napa County Library will facilitate four LEGO® robotics workshops for children ages seven through 10. During the workshops, 18 students will build and program robots with LEGO® WeDo™ robotics kits and laptops, and the Library is currently seeking volunteers to assist at these workshops.
Prospective volunteers must attend the training session and commit to assist during at least two workshops. The workshops will be held on the following dates from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Napa Main Library:

October 11
November 8
