A message for you:

At the Napa County District Attorney’s Office, we review and prosecute criminal violations committed in Napa County, bring criminal and civil actions for environmental and consumer violations, protect and uphold the rights of victims and serve our community in various innovative ways.

The Napa County District Attorney’s Office is comprised of 23 attorneys, 12 investigators, 5 victim-witness advocates, as well as a variety of administrative, finance and claims professionals. Our jurisdiction covers nearly 800 square miles and provides services to our 140,000 Napa County residents as well as millions of visitors per year. 

Divisions of the DA’s Office include Criminal, Juvenile, Consumer/Environmental and Victim Witness Assistance. We also have assignments specializing in the areas of gangs, sexual assault, elder abuse, domestic violence and fraud. The Napa County District Attorney’s Office favors vertical prosecution of felony criminal matters as a convenience to victims and witness and to ensure consistency and uniformity in the disposition of these cases.

It is our profession and our honor to insure that public safety is a top priority of local government so that we can continue to maintain the high quality of life we enjoy in Napa County resulting in one of the safest areas in California to live, work and raise our families. It is our intent to do justice in this county, encourage crime victims on their journeys to becoming survivors and work aggressively with our community on crime prevention efforts.
