At the heart of the Literacy Center are our dedicated volunteers. Our tutors are of all ages and backgrounds but all have in common a commitment to service.

Schedule two to three hours/week to tutor when it is convenient for you Meet with your learner at the library or other community locations Learn effective strategies for teaching reading and writing to adults Enroll in our 7-hour training and optional in-services
