During the month of July the Animal Shelter is promoting the ‘Adoption Option’ with adoption costs reduced by approximately 50%; we're not charging the spay/neuter fees! If you have been thinking of adopting an animal, NOW is the time! Call or visit the animal shelter for more information.

• View Adoptable Pets:  Our shelter has many dogs, cats and bunnies waiting for a new best friend!

• Pet Selection: Selecting the right pet for you and your family. 

• Cost: Adoption fees are based on spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, micro-chipping and an adoption fee. 

•  Adoption Applications: When you are ready to adopt, please print and fill out the appropriate form below. Come to the shelter, select and meet with the animal of your choice.  If all paperwork is in order and we can confirm home ownership or landlord approval (and there are no other applications on that particular animal) you will likely be able to take that animal home that day.  This process will be delayed if the information is not available or if a fence check is required (dogs only).

• Application Process: Applications for animals will generally be accepted until a qualified application is received. If multiple applications are received in a short period of time we may close adoptions as soon as five (5) qualified applications are submitted. 

• Multiple Applicants for Same Pet: If there are multiple suitable applicants the names of these applicants will be placed in a hat and one name will be drawn. Please keep this in mind when you are applying to adopt an animal. We encourage you to have a back up plan in case you do not get your first choice animal. There are many wonderful animals up for adoption at our shelter and if you are not selected at this time please keep checking back or apply for another animal that you have interest in. Eventually you will be matched with a perfect pet for you and/or your family.
