Why Do I Need A Dog License?

A Napa County dog license may be your lost dog's ticket home! Also, per California State, Health and Safety regulations (H. & S. 121690): Every dog owner, after his/her dog attains the age of four months, shall secure a license for the dog as provided by the city or county in which you reside. Napa County Code Requirements

If you prefer to handle this transaction by mail please send the required certificates along with the correct fees to the Animal Shelter (call the shelter at (707) 253-4382 if you are unsure how much you need to send).

CHECK BACK REGULARLY AS WE WILL BE ADDING MORE LOCATIONS TO LICENSE YOUR DOG. ASK YOUR LOCAL VETERINARIAN IF THEY HAVE PARTNERED WITH NAPA COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER AND ARE SELLING DOG LICENSES.
