The project consists of but is not limited to repair storm damage to a retaining wall along the south side of White Sulphur Springs Road that also serves as the northern bank for Sulphur Creek. Approximately 200 linear feet of the retaining wall have been compromised and approximately 30 linear feet have broken and fallen into the creek that could jeopardize the integrity of the adjacent White Sulphur Springs roadbed.

The proposed project includes the demolition of the existing failed retaining wall, including removal of sections of the wall that has fallen into Sulphur Creek, and construction of a new reinforced concrete retaining wall with cast in drilled hole concrete piles, surface and subsurface drainage system, riparian restoration, and all other associated work to complete the construction of the project.
