Will my daughter get to keep her doctor?
In most cases, yes. Both the state Department of Health Care Services and Partnership HealthPlan of California are working to ensure that Healthy Families providers are also Medi‑Cal Providers. Some children will need to choose new providers. Partnership HealthPlan will help make the transition as smooth as possible.
Will my son get to keep his dentist?

Do I still have to pay my Healthy Families premiums?
Yes. It is very important to keep paying your Healthy Families premiums. Some people will continue to pay a premium after the transition. It is also important to read all notices and forms Healthy Families sends you, and also to complete your annual eligibility review when you receive it.
Will my premiums increase?
The cost of premiums will not increase, and families with incomes at or below 150 percent of the federal poverty line will no longer be charged premiums once they move to Medi-Cal.
