 Make a different cultural craft each Saturday this month.  Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the American Canyon Library by joining us to make papel picaodo and tissue flowers, traditional items from Mexico.

The American Canyon Branch will celebrate Día de los Muertos by decorating sugar skulls from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 1 at the American Canyon Branch, 300 Crawford Way in American Canyon. Supplies will be provided, and no registration is required. A community altar created by students from American Canyon Middle School will also be on display. The American Canyon Branch will host an evening of “Bingo! for Books” on Thursday, November 20, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the American Canyon Branch, 300 Crawford Way in American Canyon. Participants will play games of Bingo, and winners will choose their prizes from a selection of used books, provided courtesy of the Friends of the American Canyon Branch. Terry Birkholz, President of the Friends of the American Canyon Branch and Napa County Library Commissioner, will call the Bingo games. The Friends of the Napa Library Book sale, Bag day Saturday and Sunday.  On Saturday fill up a bag of books for $5.00!  On Sunday Get 2 bags of books for $5.00.  Saturday Hours are 10 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 4.
