On Nov. 9, 2010, the Board of Supervisors voted to move forward with the design and environmental review for the eight and a half acre Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) campus. The HHSA campus is located at 2344 Old Sonoma Road within the City of Napa, nominally classified as Public Quasi (PQ) within the City of Napa General Plan. The project involves the redesign of the existing HHSA campus and initial conceptual site planning and suggests the demolition of most of the 12 existing buildings on the site in a multi-year phased construction project amounting to approximately 184,000 square feet, including the expansion of existing 242 parking spaces for a total of 550 spaces.
