Communicable Diseases and Conditions Information

The Napa County Public Health Division’s Communicable Disease Unit is responsible for:

  • Monitoring and reporting more than 90 different notifiable diseases and conditions (including the occurrence or outbreaks of any unusual illness, infection or disease)
  • Case investigation
  • Planning and prevention programs
  • Public health laboratory support
  • Addressing any circumstances or issues related to communicable disease and public health
