The Napa County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee provides ongoing advice and recommendations regarding IHSS to the County Board of Supervisors and the County IHSS administration. The Advisory Committee consists of nine members appointed by the Board of Supervisor. The makeup of the committee included five past or present users of IHSS service, two current or former providers of IHSS services, one current member of the Napa County Commission on Aging, and one member from the community with involvement and interest in the IHSS program.
The public are welcome to attend our meetings; each meeting offers opportunity for public comment on agenda and non-agenda items. The IHSS Advisory Committee is a client-driven body that represents the voice of the recipients and providers of the IHSS program.
