Why Do You Need a Dog License?

A Napa County dog license may be your lost dog's ticket home! Also, per California State, Health and Safety regulations (H. & S 121690): Every dog owner, after his/her dog attains the age of four months, shall secure a license for the dog as provided by the city or county in which you reside.     Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
  • Napa Humane Spay/Neuter Clinic
    3265 California Boulevard, Napa
    Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Yountville Town Hall
    6550 Yount Street, Yountville
    Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Licensing by Mail

If you prefer to handle this transaction by mail please send the required certificates along with the correct fees to the Animal Shelter (call the shelter at (707) 253-4382 if you are unsure how much you need to send).
