The county assessor’s main responsibility is to be fair, not to raise revenue. We welcome inquiries from property owners who believe the current market value of their property as of January 1, 2023 is less than the value shown on the 2022 to 2023 property tax bill. We use sales of property between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2023 to conduct a review of the January 1, 2023 value.
To assist us in completing our review prior to closing the assessment roll on June 30, 2023 please submit your request for an informal review no later than May 15, 2023. Download the Value Review Request Form (PDF).
The results of our review will be available after July 15, 2023 via the county website. Notices can be searched by either assessor parcel number or by the property address.
The basic information on the July 15 value notice is also shown on the property tax bill that you receive in October of each year.
