Our Mission

The Napa County Victim Services Division is dedicated to guiding victims and their families through the criminal justice system in a supportive, compassionate, respectful and culturally competent manner. Our Division is dedicated to providing information, resources, and non-judgmental services to our community. We are committed to upholding victims’ rights through education and inclusivity so that their voices may be heard; thereby transforming the lives of every victim we serve.  

Our Services

The Victim Services Division offers comprehensive services to victims and witnesses of all crime types. Many of the services we offer are:

  • Case status and case disposition information
  • Court escort and support
  • Crisis intervention
  • Orientation to the criminal justice system
  • Resource and referral assistance
  • CalVCB and restitution information
  • Employer notification and intervention
  • Notification of friends and family
  • Child care accommodations
  • Court waiting area
  • Creditor intervention
  • Crime prevention information
  • Funeral and burial arrangement assistance
  • Temporary restraining order information
  • Transportation assistance
  • Witness notification

Program services are provided free of charge and there is no legal citizenship requirement to receive assistance.
