The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a comprehensive, 5-year plan to improve Napa County facilities.
Construction & Design Engineering
The Public Works Construction and Design Engineering Section provides for the design and/or oversight of contracted professional services for a wide variety of projects serving County roads, bridges, and drainage structures, County building improvements and modifications, support facilities and other engineering or architectural needs.
County Service Area #3
In March 1979, the Napa County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution of Formation No. 79-28, by which County Service Area No. 3 (CSA No. 3) was formed.

Resort Improvement Districts
The Lake Berryessa Resort Improvement District (LBRID) and the Napa Berryessa Resort Improvement Districts (NBRID) are two Special Districts of the State of California, and are two of only seven Resort Improvement Districts created in the State before the Resort Improvement District Act was repealed in the 1970s. Both District’s provide water and wastewater services to separate small communities in the unincorporated areas of Napa County.
