2021 Four Lagging Walls Construction Project: Dry Creek Rd. and Diamond Mtn. Rd.
The proposed project consists of storm slide repair with lagging/retaining walls and roadway reconstruction caused by the 2017 and 2019 damage in Napa County.

2022 Napa County Road Seal Projects, RDS 22-14
The project is located on several separate roads in Napa County. Oak Knoll Avenue from Silverado Trail to Highway 29, Old Sonoma Road from Highway 121 to Napa City limits, Buhman Avenue from Old Sonoma Road to Napa City Limits, and Big Ranch Road from Napa City limits to Oak Knoll Avenue.

2023 Berryessa Improvements Project
The 2023 Berryessa Improvements Project will provide road rehabilitation efforts within two (2) subdivisions (the Berryessa Highlands and the Berryessa Pines), Steele Canyon Road, Berryessa Knoxville Road, and Spanish Flat Loop Road. The treatments at each location vary from seals to overlays and are specified on the Plans and Specifications. The County will resurface 24 roadways within the Berryessa Highlands (including the portion of Steele Canyon Road from Steele Resort Road to the end) and three (3) roadways within the Berryessa Pines. There are 8.1 miles of Berryessa Knoxville Road that will be sealed, between Spanish Flat Loop Road and Pope Canyon Road. Additionally, all of Spanish Flat Loop Road will be treated. Contractor shall possess a Class A or C-12 License. Revised Engineer estimate for base: $6,250,000.

Campbell Creek Fish Passage, RDS 22-01
Napa County is proposing to replace the existing Dry Creek Road Culvert at the mouth of Campbell Creek that conveys the water in Campbell Creek beneath Dry Creek Road into Dry Creek along the south edge of the paved roadway.

Capell 214 and Pope 220 Fire Stations Emergency Generators, PW 22-21
The Capell 214 and Pope 220 Fire Stations were prepared to accept generators when they were originally constructed. The new work required consists of pulling new wires through existing conduits, installing automatic transfer switches, supplying new diesel generators, and fastening, connecting and testing the new generators.

Chiles Pope Bridge Replacement, RDS 15-23
The project consist of replacement of the existing bridge on Chiles Pope Road over Chiles Pope Creek. The proposed bridge structure would consist of an approximately 105-foot-long by 26-foot- wide two-span cast-in-place prestressed concrete slab bridge that is two feet in depth.

Dry Creek Road Bridge over Dry Creek, RDS 15-22
The project is 0.8 miles west of Mt. Veeder Road and consist of replacing the existing bridge at a sharp curve in Dry Creek Road. The proposed bridge structure would consist of an approximately 80-foot-long by 32-foot-wide single-span concrete slab bridge that is constructed on pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete girders. The project also includes 900 feet of new roadway to remove two curves in Dry Creek Road. If the County can complete the regulatory permit process and right-of-way acquisitions before 2023, then it is possible that construction could begin in 2023. There is significant competition for federal Highway Bridge Program funding and it is anticipated that construction could begin in 2025.

Dry Creek Road MPM 11.6, RDS 23-20
During the storm event that started in January of 2023, significant damage occurred at Dry Creek Road MPM 11.6, which is located in the unincorporated Napa County. Dry Creek Road MPM 11.6 sustained road and bank failure consisting of downslope failure on the northern side of the roadway, where a portion of the road slid down the hillside threatening the remaining portions of the road. The slide is approximately 100 feet long by 12 feet wide. The proposed repair to the slide is approximately 124 foot-long concrete grade beam wall supported by 24” concrete CIDH (cast–in-place-drilled-hole) piles. The grade beam wall depth is between 8’ to 14’. The piles depth is approximately 30’. There are approximately 60 linear feet of roadway payment rehabilitation (grinding and re-surfacing existing pavement) and 85 linear feet of roadway payment re-construction (removing old asphalt/aggregate). Engineer Estimate: $700,000. Contractor shall possess a Class A license at the time of Contract award.

HSIP CYCLE 10 Guardrail, RDS 21-31 State Project No: HSIPL 5921 (085)
The HSIP Cycle 10 Guardrail project will upgrade 3 guardrail sections along Silverado Trail from Meadowood Lane to Fawn Park Road and 10 guardrail sections along Petrified Forest Rd from Franz Valley School Rd to Rancho Juan Inez Rd.

HSIP CYCLE 10 STRIPING, RDS 21-32 State Project Number: HSIPL 5921 (086)
The project will be performed on the various segments throughout Napa County listed on the plans and specifications. The proposed project will upgrade striping and various pavement markings to Caltrans Standards, also installing new and upgrading existing Class II and III Bike Lane signs.

Juvenile Justice Center Domestic Water System Rehabilitation, PW 21-36
The work in general consists of, but is not limited to supplying all labor and materials for the demolition and installation of domestic hot water heaters, tanks, thermostatic mixing valve and associated water piping, natural gas piping, condensate drain, exhaust flue, power, and control wiring at the Juvenile Justice Center. The replacement water heaters will be tankless.

Juvenile Justice Center Fence, PW 22-37
The JJC Fencing project will install various improvements to upgrade the perimeter fence system at the Juvenile Justice Center located at 212 Walnut Street in Napa, CA 94559. This project is being bid under informal bidding procedures pursuant to Napa County Code Chapter 2.38.

LBRID Pump Station No 1 and 2 Generator, LB 21-01
The Lake Berryessa Resort Improvement District is seeking contractors to purchase and install two stand-by generators for two existing water system pump stations (one at each location) located at different locations on Harness Drive in Pope Valley. Scope includes site work as shown on the conceptual site plans, connection to existing manual transfer switches, and start-up and testing services.

Napa County Replacement Detention Facility, PW 20-100
The new Jail Facility will be designed to include 32-bed Housing pods, two 24-bed dormitory Housing units and Medical and Mental Health Services spaces for a total of 332 total beds. In addition, the facility will include all the necessary spaces to operate a fully functional Jail Facility.

The project is located on the East and West banks of the Napa River in a stretch located between Yountville Cross Road and Oak Knoll Avenue in Napa County.

Napa River Restoration Oakville to Oak Knoll
The project is located along the Napa River north of Yountville and just south of the Oakville Cross Road.

NBRID Sewer Lift Station 2 Pump Replace, NB 19-05
The location of the work is entirely within the Napa Berryessa Resort Improvement District. The primary objective of the project is to install new electro-mechanical equipment at Lift Station No. 2 located at Steele Canyon Road near Arroyo Lindo Dr in Napa.

NBRID Wastewater Pond No. 2 Slope Stabilization Project, NB 22-01
The project is located at 9625 Steele Canyon Road within the County of Napa. The primary objective of the project is to restore the earthen slope, liner and damaged evaporation system pipe and improve drainage at Wastewater Pond No. 2. HDPE liner will be cut and pulled back to expose the slide at pond bottom. Slumped material will be excavated and hauled to a staging sites across road at Steele Park Report.

The project is located on the East and West banks of the Napa River in a stretch located between Yountville Cross Road and Oakville Cross Road in Napa County.

The project is located on the East and West banks of the Napa River starting at the Yountville Cross Road bridge and extending approximately 3,000 ft to the South.

Partrick Bridge Repair over Browns Valley Creek, RDS 20-12
The 2014 South Napa Earthquake caused damage to the bridge located at mile marker 0.88 on Partrick Rd. Cracks in the concrete abutments and masonry stone joints prompted the County to install a temporary bridge that has been serving well but is not a permanent solution. The permanent bridge will be set on a permanent foundation, will have a minimal design lifespan of 50 years, and will be 18 feet wide (4 feet wider than the temporary bridge). The deck will be coated with a no-slip surface that can be paved over at a later date if needed.

Sheriff Office HVAC Repairs, PW 22-08
The project will be commenced at the following Napa County facility: 1535 Airport Boulevard. Napa, CA 94558. The work in general consists of, removing the evap con condenser and steel adapter frame they set on, constructing new adapter frames out of stainless steel, reinforcing of the original structure and disassembly of the evaporative condenser to accommodate replacing the heat exchangers and fan assemblies with new components during the winter of 2022/2023.

Silverado Trail Guardrail Repair MM 0.0 - 11.0, RDS 20-01 Federal Project Number: HSIPL 5921 (079)
Replace existing guardrails at 27 locations over an 11-mile stretch of Silverado Trail between MM 0.00 and MM 11.00. Project work includes post removal, beam detachment from bridge walls, and installation of height-compliant post and beam guardrail systems.

Silverado Trail Phase K Paving, RDS 20-03A
The proposed project will consist of the placement of a 2.0 inch think layer of rubberized asphalt, gap graded (RHMA-G) on Silverado Trail from south of Yountville Cross Rd to Oak Knoll Ave intersection, including pre-paving HMA-Type A roadway repair, conform and floodway grinding and all other related work.

Silverado Trail Striping, RDS 20-02 Federal Project Number: HSIPL 5921 (080)
Upgrade striping on Silverado Trail from Trancas Street to Highway 29. The striping upgrade will only occur within portions of the roadway under County jurisdiction. All work will occur within existing County right of way.

Soscol-Devlin Roundabout Project
Napa County is proposing to improve the intersection for Devlin Road and Soscol Ferry Road with construction of a roundabout. The project would convert the intersection into a yield-controlled, single-lane, three-legged roundabout designed to accommodate future traffic forecasts. There would be no expansion in the number of travel lanes for Devlin Road and Soscol Road, but minor expansion of right-of-way is necessary to accommodate the roundabout.

South Campus Building B Emergency Power, PW 21-20
This project is to install a 350kW generator at the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) that is capable of providing back-up power during power outages and public shutoffs in order to keep the 24-hour services operational to the public.

South Campus HHSA Child Welfare Services & Security Improvements Project, PW 21-28
The project is located at Child Welfare Services (CWS) 2751B Napa Valley Corporate Way, Napa, CA 94558. Description of Work: Building and site repairs will include but not be limited to miscellaneous security and safety improvements located in the CWS main lobby and the children’s playground area.

South Napa Shelter Tenant Improvement, PW 20-16
The work in general consists of, but is not limited to supplying all labor and materials to remodel bathrooms throughout the facility, provide ADA improvements throughout, as well as supply and install furniture and remodel office space.

Spanish Flat Equipment Yard Repair Project RDS 20-53
The project is located at Napa County Equipment Yard, 4300 Spanish Flat Loop Road Napa, CA 94558. Building and site repairs that will include but not be limited to miscellaneous repairs to the carport structural, asphalt pad, electrical, and surrounding fencing as specified in the attached drawing set and specifications.

South Napa Shelter Phase II - HVAC Replacement, PW 20-16A
The South Napa Shelter Project Phase II - HVAC provides needed maintenance and modernization to the Napa County homeless shelter facility at 100 Hartle Court, Napa, CA, related to the increased occupancy required HVAC work, resulting from the South Napa Shelter TIP, PW 20-16 Project.

Steele Canyon Road Emergency Slide Repair Project, RDS 23-27
Heavy rains in Napa County in January 2023 caused at least seven major slides in the county. A slope that supports a lane of Steele Canyon Road near miler post marker (MPM) 6.4 slid and is one of four emergency slide repairs that will be completed by the county this year. Repairs for the Steele Canyon slide are already underway. The site has been surveyed and examined by a geotechnical engineer and geologist and drilling and boring samples are being evaluated in a laboratory in anticipation environmental review.

White Hall Lane Bridges Repair Project, RDS 20-31 & RDS 20-32
Repair the stone masonry arch bridges on Whitehall. ridge. The project at MPM 0.9 includes repairing barrier rails and pressure grouting the headwalls.
