Mission & Core Values
The Probation Department operates adult and juvenile Court-related services in the areas of investigation and supervision. When probation is granted, the Department is responsible for the supervision of the probationer and enforcement of the conditions and terms of probation.

Community Corrections Partnership
The Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) is required to develop and recommend to the Board of Supervisors an implementation plan for 2011 public safety realignment. It is a multi-disciplinary team established in Penal Code 1230 as a result of the Realignment Act of 2011.

Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council
The Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council (JJCC) meets quarterly to discuss juvenile justice programs, does an annual review of the funding plans required by the State, and votes annually on funding given out to community non-profits from the Children’s Trust Fund overseen by Child Welfare Services.
