These documents, along with the Zoning Code, are referenced by the Department's land use planner when reviewing and approving applications for permits. The County's General Plan serves as a broad framework for planning the future of Napa County. This General Plan is the official policy statement of the County Board of Supervisors to guide the private and public development of the County.

Napa Valley Business Park Specific Plan
The Napa County's Napa Valley Business Park Specific Plan and EIR is intended to guide and facilitate development of the designated 2,945-acre Napa County Airport Industrial area. The plan recognizes the economic importance to the County and region of the Napa Valley Business Park area and responds to the area's identification in the Napa County General Plan as the principal unincorporated location for industrial development.
Airport Land Use Compatibility Area Plan
This document sets forth the policies and criteria that the Napa County Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) uses in evaluating land use plans and proposed development in the vicinity of the public-use airports located within Napa County.
