Saturday, September 1st marks the last day of our Summer Reading Program for all participants. September 1st is also the final day for children to collect their summer reading prizes. Please see below for important dates regarding the end of the Summer Reading Program.

Children’s Prize and Party Information:

Children (3-12 years): Please have your paper book log or virtual badge for reading 10 books ready to show staff at the Reader Celebration Party or at your library between July 31st and September 1st. Summer Reading Participants must have read 10 or more books to be eligible for prizes.

Wee Readers (Birth to 2 years): To collect prizes, participants are invited to a Wee Reader Party or to visit your library between July 31st and September 1st. Bring your paper activity log or your online activity completion badge for your child to receive their final prizes.

Napa Party (3-12 years): Tuesday, July 31
11:00 am - 3:00 pm (Open House)

Calistoga Party (3-12 years): Thursday, August 2
10:30 am - 11:30 am

American Canyon Party (3-12 years): Thursday, August 2
3:15 pm - 4:15 pm
@ American Canyon Branch,300 Crawford Way, American Canyon

Wee Reader Party (0-2) years: Friday, August 3
10:30 am -11:30 am
@ Napa Main Library, 580 Coombs Street, Napa

Please note: Participating Readers who have read 10 books or more but cannot come to one of the Parties may turn in their Book Log or online badge (representing 10 or more books) in person to receive prizes at the Napa, American Canyon, Calistoga, or Yountville Library.

Teen and Adult Summer Readers (13 and up):

Complete the online or Bingo activities and report to your library’s Information Desk for a chance to enter a raffle.

Mike Thompson’s Reading Challenge for Kids

Books read for the Mike Thompson’s Challenge will also count toward your Summer Reading Program goals.
