Child Welfare Services Guide
Resource Family Approval Tool Kit
Families who wish to foster children not related to them, and relative/kin caregivers must go through a state regulated licensing process administered by Napa CWS and regulated by California Code of Regulations and the California Health and Safety Codes.

There are many support groups available to Resource Parents. Find information on Kincare Support Group, Adoption Support, Challenging Behavior, Resource Parent Mentors, and Resource Parent Support.
Alternatives for Better Living
Alternatives provides anger management, parenting and substance abuse education and counseling in Napa California. They work with both adults and adolescents.
Community Resources for Children (CRC)
