Napa County Strategic Plan

During the past 18 months, County leadership engaged with over 4,000 community members to develop the 2019-2022 DRAFT Strategic Plan (PDF). The Strategic Plan will serve as the framework to guide our decision-making and allow us (as a Board) to communicate a common message, as well as set a clear direction with targeted priorities.

The Board of Supervisors are excited to release the 2019-2022 DRAFT Strategic Plan (PDF). The Board will hear a presentation of the Plan, and public comment, at the regularly scheduled December 18 Board meeting. The meeting will start at 9:00 AM and be held in Board Chambers, located at 1195 Third Street in Napa (Third Floor). Comments can also be submitted to [email protected] prior to the December 18 meeting.

Background

In order to develop the Strategic Plan the County launched a Community Outreach Campaign. The Campaign involved a Strategic Planning Survey (which ran from August 24, 2018 - October 9, 2018) and a series of generic and issue-focused meetings to discuss community priorities. Please visit the Strategic Planning Meetings and Events page, to view a full list of the Strategic Plan Events and their meeting recaps/notes.
