Napa County Strategic Plan
On January 15, 2019 the Board of Supervisor unanimously approved the 2019-2022 Strategic Plan (PDF). The plan contains several strategic actions which roll up to one of 16 ambitious goals, under five pillars. The five pillars are listed below.
- Collaborative and Engaged Community
- Healthy, Safe, and Welcoming Place to Live, Work, and Visit
- Livable Economy for All
- Vibrant and Sustainable Environment
- Effective and Open Government
In the coming months, County Executive Office staff will work closely with Departments to create an Implementation Plan which will outline the who. what, when, and how we will work on the goals and strategic actions.
County staff will report on their progress to the Board and the Public twice a year. .
Background
In order to develop the Strategic Plan the County launched a Community Outreach Campaign. The Campaign involved a Strategic Planning Survey (which ran from August 24, 2018 - October 9, 2018) and a series of generic and issue-focused meetings to discuss community priorities. Please visit the Strategic Planning Meetings and Events page, to view a full list of the Strategic Plan Events and their meeting recaps/notes.
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions on the Strategic Planning process you can email them to CEO or call (707) 253-4800.
