Caregivers must receive a minimum of 12 hours of Pre-Approval Training (not including CPR/First Aid) to successfully complete the Resource Family Approval (RFA) Process. Once approved, caregivers must receive a minimum of 8 hours of Post-Approval Training (also known as annual training) and maintain their CPR / First Aid certification.
