Zoning Administrator

The Zoning Administrator (ZA) hears and decides on a broad range of minor planning permit applications over which it has authority (see County Code Section 18.10.020 - Duties – Specific Subjects), unless the ZA’s, determines that the public interest would be furthered by having a particular application heard and decided by the Planning Commission. The Director of the Planning, Building and Environmental Services Department is appointed to serve as the ZA, and may appoint a Deputy ZA to perform the duties of the ZA. 


Date and Time: 9 a.m. - 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month
Location:  ZA meetings will be held at the Department of Planning Building and Environmental Services at
1195 Third Street, Second Floor, Napa, CA (unless otherwise noted.)  Please check in with the second floor reception for meeting location.
