Guidance for Childcare and Schools

September 3, 2020- Superintendent Barbara Nemko and Dr. Karen Relucio

Thank you for joining Napa County today to discuss how the State of California’s new Blueprint for A Safer Economy impacts the planning and implementation of reopening in-person learning for schools and school districts. The decision to reopen a school or school district rests with the individual school or district, not Napa County Public Health. Schools and districts may begin assessing their own plans and ability to reopen safely in accordance with State guidance on or after September 14th. Napa County continues to be a partner and will work with schools and school districts to advocate for the needs of our community as plans for safely reopening schools are considered.
