Project Scope

The project is located on Silverado Trail at (2 sites) at Taplin Road mile post 15.35 and mile post 26.50: Silverado Trail Bridge at Taplin Road.  The proposed work at this location will consist of pressure grouting exposed cracks in the stone barrier.  Work will include:

  • Mobilization
  • Staging Area Set Up
  • Implementation of Erosion and Sediment Control Best Management Practices (BMP)
  • Construction Area Signs per CAMUTCD standards and Special Provisions
  • Temporary Traffic Control per CAMUTCD standards and Special Provisions
  • Erosion control best management practices
  • Epoxy Grouting
  • Roadway excavation and grading, backfill for the new bridge
  • Structural excavation and backfill for the new bridge
  • Protection of the existing stone bridge during construction activities
  • Installation and construction of CIDH pilings
  • Construction of Cast-In-Place slab bridge and abutments
  • Rock Slope Protection


Contractor shall possess a Class A License at the time of contract award.  Engineer's estimate is $30,000.  Attached is the bidders list.  The bid opening was August 20, 2020 at 11:30 am.  The sublist is attached in this link.
