Crisis Stabilization Services Program (CSSP)

The Crisis Stabilization Services Program provides immediate response on a short-term basis (lasting less than 24 hours) to help individuals of all ages affected by problems and symptoms associated with acute mental health crises.

Crisis stabilization services are designed to stabilize and alleviate the crisis and symptoms, allowing individuals to return home or transition to the appropriate level of care. Crisis stabilization services also include medication evaluation and psychiatric medication to those who have a serious mental health problem who may be at risk of experiencing an acute mental health crisis.
