The project is located on Airport Boulevard in Napa County. The project extents are roughly from the State Route 29 to the east, to end at Airport Road to the west, including working within the railroad easement.
The work in general consists of, but is not limited to supplying all labor and materials to perform a full depth reclamation along the roadway, as well as perform signals modifications, including a remote installation for signal outages. The remote installation will occur on the roof and in the server room of the Napa County Sheriff’s Building, located at 1535 Airport Blvd, Napa CA 94558. The work is subject to the requirements of the Measure T funding, with signage provided by County. Rights of Entry are secured by Napa County for the railroad-adjacent work, signage in the Caltrans right-of-way, and work near the Assessor’s parcel numbers 057320001000 and 057200028000 (near the Gateway Drive and Devlin Drive intersections).
As Additive Alternate #1, the contractor shall bid the project for night work, with the understanding that traffic controls will not change.
Each bidder must be licensed as required by law. Contractor shall possess a Class A or C-12 License at the time of contract award. The Engineer's estimate is $2,900,000.
