Public Health provides a variety of programs for children and families, including home visiting services, nutritional benefits, breastfeeding support, medical case management, child development services and connection to community resources. Public Health investigates and prevents transmission of communicable diseases and we work with stakeholders to promote health, prevent chronic disease, reduce health disparities, prepare and respond to emergencies and provide systems of care for emergency medical services. Our diverse and highly dedicated staff are the key to our successful work with our community. Our internal partnerships within the Health and Human Services Agency and other County Departments, as well as our external partnerships with community stakeholders, are instrumental in our success to improve the health of those who live and work in Napa County.
