The project is located at: Capell 214 Fire Station, 1251 Steele Canyon Rd, Napa, CA 94558 and Pope 220 Fire Station, 2386 Stagecoach Canyon Rd, Pope Valley, CA 94567.
The work in general consists of, accepting new generators when they were originally constructed. The new work required consists of pulling new wires through existing conduits, installing automatic transfer switches, supplying new diesel generators, and fastening, connecting and testing the new generators.
Contractor shall possess a Class A, B or C-10 at the time of contract award. Engineer estimate for this project is $175,000.
The plans and specifications are available for viewing or download. The bid opening was August 11, 2022 at 11:30 AM. The bid results are below, there were no subcontractors for the three lowest bids. The project was awarded by the Board of Supervisors on August 23, 2022 to G.D. Nielson of Napa, CA for their low base bid of $133,117.
