The bridge project is located near: 1151 Partrick Road in Napa, CA 94558.
The 2014 South Napa Earthquake caused damage to the bridge located at mile marker 0.88 on Partrick Rd. Cracks in the concrete abutments and masonry stone joints prompted the County to install a temporary bridge that has been serving well but is not a permanent solution. The permanent bridge will be set on a permanent foundation, will have a minimal design lifespan of 50 years, and will be 18 feet wide (4 feet wider than the temporary bridge). The deck will be coated with a no-slip surface that can be paved over at a later date if needed.
The work in general consists of, removing an existing temporary bridge and replacing with a new prefabricated bridge set on new cast in drilled hole piles and concrete abutments.
Contractor shall possess a Class A at the time of contract award.
The plans and specifications will be available once the project bids. Construction is anticipated to start around summer 2023.
