Statewide Direct Primary Election - June 7, 2022
Vote By Mail
It’s easy to vote by mail! Check out the California Secretary of State’s informational video on how to return your completed vote by mail ballot.
Ballots for the June 7, 2022 Statewide Primary Election will be mailed to all voters the week of May 9th, 2022. Ballots will be automatically mailed all active, registered Napa County voters; a separate mail ballot request is not necessary.

Same-Day Voter Registration
You must be registered to vote 15 days before Election Day to receive a ballot in the mail.
The deadline to register to vote for the June 7, 2022 Statewide Primary Election is May 23, 2022.
Once the deadline has passed, you can still register and vote in the election. You must appear in person at the Election Division or at any Vote Center once they open. Watch the conditional voter registration video Opens a New Window. to understand the process.

General Election - November 8, 2022
Municipal, school district and special district governing board seats do not open for filing until July 2022. For municipal offices, please check with the appropriate municipal clerk in May 2022. For school board and special district offices, please check with [email protected] in May 2022.
