Arts & Culture Advisory Committee

On April 10, 2012 the Napa County Board of Supervisors signed a resolution creating an Arts and Culture Advisory Committee for the primary purpose of conducting a capacity building grant program and making recommendations to County staff regarding grant awards to be made to non-profit art and cultural organizations in Napa County.

Climate Action Committee

In June 2019, the six jurisdictions in Napa County took action regarding the countywide commitment to address climate change and in 2020 formed the Napa County Climate Action Committee (CAC). The CAC consists of two elected officials from each of the six jurisdictions. The CAC is administered and staffed by Napa County.

Commission on Aging

The Commission establishes committees to address legislation and public education. Ad-hoc committees are created from time to time to handle special topics brought to the Commission.

Community Corrections Partnership

The Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) is required to develop and recommend to the Board of Supervisors an implementation plan for 2011 public safety realignment. It is a multi-disciplinary team established in Penal Code 1230 as a result of the Realignment Act of 2011.

Fire Services Advisory Committee

The Napa County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution forming the Napa County Fire Services Advisory Committee (FSAC) The purpose of the FSAC is to advise the Napa County Fire Chief and Board of Supervisors on issues pertaining to the Napa County Fire Department.

Flood Authority

The role of the Napa County Flood Protection and Watershed Improvement Authority is to contract with the Board of Equalization for collection of sales tax and establish individual accounts for each jurisdiction; disburse revenues through project contracts which meet Measure A compliance; obtain necessary debt financing for the Napa Project; and perform annual audits.

Flood Control & Water Conservation District

The Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is the local sponsor for the award-winning Napa River Flood Management Plan and administers Water Supply Contracts, Watershed Management, and Stormwater Management Programs throughout Napa County.

Groundwater Resources Advisory Committee

The Napa County Groundwater Resources Advisory Committee (GRAC) held its sixteenth and final meeting on February 27, 2014.

Groundwater Sustainability Plan Advisory Committee

The Groundwater Sustainability Plan Advisory Committee was created to advise the Napa County Groundwater Sustainability Agency Board of Directors on the preparation of a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP), with policies and recommendations to manage the groundwater within the Napa Valley Groundwater Subbasin to ensure its long-term protection and availability.
