Members
The Fire Services Advisory Committee (FSAC) consists of 11 members. Three of the members represent the volunteer firefighters, 1 of the members represents the Napa County community and 7 of the members serve as representatives from CAL FIRE/Napa County Fire Contract, Napa County Executive Office, Napa County Fire Chief, Napa County Volunteer Liaison and Napa County Risk Management.
Purpose
The Napa County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution forming the Napa County Fire Services Advisory Committee (FSAC) The purpose of the FSAC is to advise the Napa County Fire Chief and Board of Supervisors on issues pertaining to the Napa County Fire Department.
Functions of the Fire Services Advisory Committee
Review and provide guidance on operational policies and procedures, including but not limited to: training plans, operational budgets, equipment replacement plan/fleet management, long term department goals and objectives.
Act in an advisory capacity to the Fire Chief and the Board on all matters related to the fire department as directed and requested by the Board of Supervisors from time to time.
