Adult Volunteers

There are many volunteer opportunities at the Napa County Library.

  • Literacy - Adult Literacy Volunteer: Provide basic skill instruction in reading and writing for adult learners. Experience is not required, training is provided before being matched with a learner.
  • Adult Services - Event Support Staff: Set up and take down event furniture and equipment: tables, chairs, podium, mic, etc. Assist clients with last-minute changes. Greet and direct guests to appropriate areas.
  • Children - Study Center Volunteer: Assist students on a drop-in basis with any homework they may have. Provide support and encouragement, and show them various resources.

If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out a Volunteer Interest Survey.
