Mission
Our mission is to support the library through financial contributions to expand and improve library resources, to encourage use of the library resources by all segments of the community and to provide support through the volunteer services of our members.
Goals
- To maintain an association of persons interested in the library
- To focus public attention on the library
- To stimulate the community's awareness and use of the library's resources and services
- To seek the community's input regarding their needs
- To raise funds and encourage gifts of endowments and bequests for the benefit of the library
- To support and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facilities for the community
- To support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights

Friends of the Calistoga Library
The Friends of the Calistoga Library group was organized in 1978 to support the Calistoga Library. Over the years, the membership has grown to nearly 100 members, consisting of individuals, families and businesses.

Services
The Friends organization is focused on helping the Library in a number of ways:
- By raising funds, primarily through used book sales each year, to help the Calistoga Library purchase needed items, such as furniture, computers, and materials for the collection, and to sponsor programs for children,
- By assisting the Library in hosting special events,
- By maintaining an association of persons interested in libraries, focusing public attention on the library and demonstrating political support on library issues,
- By supporting and cooperating with the Library in developing library services and facilities for the community,
- By supporting the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights and the Freedom to Read Statement.

Friends of the Napa Library
Services
The Friends of the Napa Library was organized in 1969 to support the Napa Main Library. Over the years, membership has grown to more than 1,000 members. The Friends is tasked primarily as a fund raising organization to help support new and ongoing library programs.
The Friends of the Napa Library support the Napa Library in many different areas including:
- help funding materials for the collection
- sponsoring programs for children
- assisting the Library in hosting special events
- maintaining an association of persons interested in libraries
- focusing public attention on the library and demonstrating political support on library issues
- supporting and cooperating with the library in developing and maintaining library services and facilities for the community
- supporting the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association’s Library Bill of Rights and the Freedom to Read Statement

The Friends of the Yountville Library group was organized in 1987 to support the Yountville Library. The Friends of the Yountville Library are focused on helping Yountville’s Library in a number of ways:
