Welcome to the Napa County WIC Program! Women, Infants and Children logo

WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is a national nutrition education program that promotes healthy eating, encourages and supports breastfeeding, and provides referrals to health and community resources. WIC Participants receive checks to purchase healthy foods, tips for healthy eating and active living, support and help with breastfeeding, and referrals to other community programs. WIC is here to help your family with convenient hours and locations in the cities of Napa, American Canyon, Calistoga, and St. Helena.

To see if you qualify to receive WIC benefits, call WIC to be screened over the phone or come in to the clinic to meet with a staff member who can determine your eligibility. The requirements for the eligibility can be found at How Can I Get WIC? website.


WIC services are available free of charge for those that meet the eligibility requirements below. Staff members can assist you with the application process. Please contact WIC to schedule an appointment.


You can participate in the WIC Program if you:

  • Are in a category served by WIC
    • Pregnant
    • Breastfeed a baby under one year of age
    • Just had a baby in the past six months
    • Have children under five years of age. Including those cared for by a single father, grandparents, foster parent, step parent or guardian
  • Meet the WIC income guidelines for your family
  • Provide document that you live in California
