A love for visual images has been a life-long interest for Marissa Carlisle. During the Covid-19 quarantine, she began a practice of visual journaling, depicting people, places, and moments of special meaning. A background in photography brings a skill of editing, merging, and juxtaposing images to mixed media sketches. Watercolor and photo apps are used for the finishing touch.
