On May 14, 2020, the Napa County Board of Supervisors approved the submission of the “COVID-19 Attestation Variance Report” to the California Department of Public Health. The report, prepared by the Napa County Public Health Officer highlights the County’s low rates of Covid-19 cases and high levels of preparedness. If the California Department of Public Health accepts the attestation, Napa County will be able to reopen some businesses and workplaces if they make required modifications to lower the risk of transmission. County officials will communicate next steps and/or future actions, based on the State’s action regarding the Attestation Report.
