Eastern Napa County Wildfires Situation Summary and Resources

There has been a lot of communication today on the rapid developments of the wildfires in Eastern Napa County.

Napa County Office of Emergency Services continues to collaborate with CALFIRE to provide information about mandatory evacuation orders, as well as evacuation warnings and road closures related to the ongoing Napa Lightning Fire Complex.

Evacuation orders are issued when there is an immediate threat to life and safety. Mandatory evacuation orders are in effect for the following areas:

  • All of Hennesey Ridge Road
  • Sage Canyon from Chiles Pope Valley to Lower Chiles Valley Road
  • Hwy 128 from Lower Chiles Valley Rd to Monticello
  • Snell Valley Rd & Butts Canyon Rd including Berryessa Estates & Spanish Valley
  • Moskowite Corners to Wooden Valley including Circle Oaks
  • 2462 Atlas Peak East to dead end
  • Loma Vista Rd East to Soda Canyon dead end
  • Berryessa Knoxville Rd from Eastside Rd to Hwy 128
  • Everything west of Lake Berryessa Pope Canyon Rd to Berryessa Knoxville
  • Intersection on Butts Canyon Rd & Snell Valley Rd to all of Berryessa Estates Sub-D
  • All of Steele Canyon Rd. from HWY 128 and Berryessa Highlands Sub Division
  • Wragg Canyon Rd – from HWY 128 to the end of the road, including Pleasure Cove Resort.
  • Chiles Pope Valley Road from Lower Chiles Valley Road to Pope Canyon Road.

Evacuation warnings in some areas. Evacuation warnings issued for potential threats to life and/or property. Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave now. Evacuation warnings are in effect for the following areas:

  • Hwy 128 at Silverado Trail to Lower Chiles Valley Rd.
  • Hwy 128 at Lower Chiles Valley Rd to Turtle Rock
  • Butts Canyon Rd from Lake County to James Creek Rd.
  • Markley Cove Resort to Pleasants Valley Rd.

The following roads have been closed to public access:

  • Hwy 128
  • Sage Canyon Road
  • Chiles Pope Valley Rd
  • Lower Chiles Valley Rd
  • Hwy 128 between Wragg Canyon and Pleasants Valley Rd

For those who are under evacuation order or warning, a shelter location is set up at Crosswalk Community Church in Napa, 2590 First St., Napa CA 94559. Individuals who are seeking shelter are reminded to bring a face covering, practice good hygiene habits and adhere to physical distancing. The shelter will be open only to individuals who are impacted by the fire evacuations and an address verification will be in place.

As of 8:15pm CALFIRE has reported the following in Napa County:

  • Hennessy Fire: 10,000 & and 0% containment
  • Gamble: 10,000 acres & and 0% containment
  • 15-10 Fire: 8,000 acres & and 0% containment
  • Spanish Fire: 1,000 acres and 0% containment
  • Markley Fire: 2,500 acres and 0% containment

Wildfires are dynamic incidents. Residents near the fire area are asked to remain vigilant and follow the instructions of emergency personnel. Residents looking for clarification on this information are encouraged to call the CALFIRE information line at (707) 967-4207 or the Napa County Public Information line at 707-253-4540.

Hoy ha habido mucha comunicación sobre el rápido avance de los incendios forestales en el este del Condado de Napa.

La Oficina de Servicios de Emergencia del Condado de Napa continúa colaborando con CALFIRE para proporcionar información sobre órdenes de evacuación obligatorias, así como advertencias de evacuación y cierres de carreteras relacionadas con el grupo de incendios conocidos como Napa Lightning Fire Complex.
