Napa, CA -- On Thursday May 20, at 1:49pm Napa County Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire at Bronco Wine Company at 645 Devlin, Napa, CA 94558.

The first fire engine arrived at scene to heavy smoke and fire coming from the roof of the wine distribution facility. Six employees of the business self-evacuated without injury. Mutual aid support came from five cooperating agencies, including: CAL FIRE, City of Napa, City of American Canyon, Napa State Hospital, and City of Vallejo. The initial knockdown was complete within an hour.

The response included 14 engines, three trucks, and one support unit. Fire suppression resources are expected to be on scene through the late evening hours. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

“We are grateful to the cooperating agencies who supported this swift response,” said Incident Commander Chief Josh Randol of Napa County Fire Department/CAL FIRE. “The employees at this facility are commended for keeping calm and supporting an orderly evacuation. This is a good reminder for the public and for businesses to always have an evacuation plan in place.”
