Napa County is announcing that effective December 1, 2021 a new concessionaire, Sun Lake Berryessa, LLC, will be operating two Lake Berryessa recreation areas — Spanish Flat and Steele Canyon.
Spanish Flat and Steele Canyon will be closed for the month of November during this transition in concessions vendors. Day use areas, RV and tent camping, boat launches, RV pump-out stations will return on December 1, 2021. On November 16, the Board of Supervisors approved a two-year interim concessions agreement with Sun Lake Berryessa.
Lake Berryessa has 165 miles of shoreline, 20,700 surface acres and is a popular year-round destination for boating, camping, fishing and many other outdoor recreation activities. Visitors and residents can find information about other recreation areas around Lake Berryessa at the USBR website.
