Napa County posted its last unofficial post election night report Tuesday evening June 15, 2022. Election results are available on the county website.
“We have now counted approximately 90% of the total ballots that we expect to receive,” commented Napa County Registrar of Voters John Tuteur. “Our next report will be our final certified report the week of June 27, 2022 after processing the remaining ballots and performing a manual tally of approximately 1,500 ballots during which human eyes confirm the results tabulated by our ballot scanners.”
As of 4:00 p.m. Tuesday June 15, 2022 the Napa County Election Division estimates that there are still more than 3,000 ballots to be counted which would represent a 43% projected overall turnout of all registered voters. The remaining uncounted ballots include ballots needing signature verification 400; same day registration ballots (approximately 41); overseas and damaged ballots that need to be duplicated (approximately 1800) and provisional ballots (approximately 5).
All processes including counting, duplicating and manual tally can be observed by members of the public at the Election Division, 1127 1st St. Ste E Napa CA during regular business hours.
