Recipients announced for Napa County’s 2023-2024 Arts, Culture & Heritage Grant Program

NAPA, CA – The Napa County Arts & Culture Advisory Committee (ACAC) has selected 18 organizations as the recipients of the committee’s 2023-2024 Arts, Culture & Heritage Grant Awards totaling $305,916 in funds. The goal of the grant program is to invest in organizations that benefit the community and draw visitors to the county, support organizations that demonstrate viability and dedication to the public interest, and to help organizations that promote a diverse array of objects including public impact and accessibility. The recipients (below) were selected from two categories, Tourism Arts and Culture and General Arts and Culture: 

  • Tourism Arts and Culture:
    • Music in the Vineyards
    • Napa Valley Festival Association
    • Napa Valley Museum
    • di Rosa Preserve
    • di Rosa Preserve & Shakespeare Napa Valley
    • Napa County Historical Society
    • Napa County Historical Society, St. Helena Historical Society & Napa Valley TV
  • General Arts and Culture:
    • Lunchtime Productions (Cafeteria Kids Theater)
    • Napa Valley Youth Symphony
    • Lucky Penny Productions
    • E & M Presents
    • American Canyon Arts Foundation
    • Napa Public Access Cable Television
    • Nimbus Arts
    • Shakespeare Napa Valley
    • Friends of the Cameo (Cameo Cinema Foundation)
    • Bel Canto
    • Napa Valley Unified Educational Foundation

The Napa County Arts & Culture Advisory Committee reviewed 31 grant proposals from 26 arts and culture non-profit organizations and recommended 22 proposals for funding. The Napa County Board of Supervisors approved the funding recommendations at their regular May 16 meeting. Funding for the grants come from the county’s Community Investment Fund.
