Notice is hereby given that on August 22, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., in the Napa County Administration Building, 1195 Third Street, Suite 305, Napa, California the Napa County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk ex-officio Registrar of Voters will conduct a public hearing to consider and receive public comments on the Draft Election Administration Plan published on August 7, 2023. Any member of the public may attend the hearing and be heard regarding the Draft Election Administration Plan orally or in writing. Public meetings held shall, upon request, provide auxiliary aids and services to ensure effective communication with people with disabilities pursuant to CALIFORNIA ELECTIONS CODE SECTION 4005 (a)(10)(F).
Following the public hearing additional written comments can be submitted until September 5, 2023, pursuant to CALIFORNIA ELECTIONS CODE SECTION 4005 (a)(10)(D)(ii). Following the close of the written comment period, the Registrar of Voters may adopt the final Election Administration Plan and shall submit the plan to the Secretary of State pursuant to CALIFORNIA ELECTIONS CODE SECTION 4005 (a)(10)(E)(i).
In addition to attending the public hearing, any interested person may submit written comments between August 7, 2023, and September 5, 2023, concerning the draft Election Administration Plan to REGISTRAR OF VOTER, 1127 1ST ST. STE. E, NAPA, CA 94559-2952 or electronically: [email protected].
