Napa County Supervisor Alfredo Pedroza Elected President of Latino Caucus of California Counties

Supervisor Belia Ramos elected Treasurer

NAPA – Napa County Supervisor Alfredo Pedroza was elected President of the Latino Caucus of California Counties (LCCC), the official association of Latino/a county supervisors in the Golden State. The LCCC encourages the engagement and involvement of Latino/a Leaders in developing solutions to statewide issues and concerns that provide value to the California State Association of Counties, the Latino community, and all Californians.

Pedroza, a lifelong Napa County resident, was appointed Napa County Supervisor by Governor Jerry Brown in 2014, and elected to office in 2016. He previously served as a Councilmember on the Napa City Council.

"I am honored to be elected to serve California as President of the Latino Caucus of California Counties,” Pedroza said. “Our communities are facing real challenges, including wildfire recovery, the 2020 Census, workforce scarcity, and a lack of affordable housing. We hope to use our voices of local county governments to better address these issues in the coming year."

Other officers include Riverside County Supervisor Manuel Perez as Vice-President, Napa County Supervisor Belia Ramos as Treasurer, and Sonoma County Supervisor James Gore as SecretaryParliamentarian. Monterey County Supervisor Luis Alejo will serve as Past-President on the Executive Board.

The following county supervisors will also serve as Board Members: Supervisor Leticia Perez (Kern County), Richard Valle (Kings County), Chris Lopez (Monterey County), Debra Lucero (Butte County), Rodrigo Espinoza (Merced County), Miguel Villapudua (San Joaquin County), Raymond Castillo (Imperial County), Ed Valenzuela (Siskiyou County) and Richard Valley (Alameda County).
