NAPA, CA— Napa County’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has the following updates and resources available related to PG&E’s current Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event.
PG&E will not reenergize power lines until the end of the hazardous weather event and until they have conducted safety inspections. Those inspections are not expected to begin until Thursday afternoon. PG&E has warned that it might take up to five days or more to restore power to all of its customers.
To help local community members through the power loss, Napa County is operating a Public Information Line from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at (707) 299-1501, and has opened Charging Centers where they can charge their medical and electronic devices. The Charging Centers will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) and remain available until power is restored.
