The Napa County Department of Housing & Homeless Services (DHHS) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for event planning services for a biannual multiagency outreach event to engage persons in the community currently experiencing homelessness. In 2021 several local government and nonprofit partners came together to organize a “Breakfast at the Park” event for individuals experiencing homelessness residing in a local encampment. The purpose of the event was engage with and encourage clients to connect with available housing, sheltering and social support services. Community partners provided meals, hygiene supplies, clothing, and vaccinations in addition to printed and verbal direction on how to access available services. At this time, Napa County DHHS seeks the assistance of an event planner to plan, coordinate and execute a bi-annual event with existing and new social service partners.
