Come join the fun! Elementary school-age readers are invited to read to a certified listening dog. The dogs are great listeners and provide an inviting environment for kids to practice their reading skills. Kids sign up for a 15-minute session when they
arrive at the library. They may select a book from our collection or bring one from home.

From first-responders to those that stayed out of the way, everyone took on a task and tried their best to achieve what they believed most important. For Tim Carl it was to document the fires from the perspective of a local with deep ties to the valley. He will share photos and thoughts on one of the biggest natural calamities in local memory.
