    All Napa Valley farmworkers are invited to participate in the 17th Annual Napa County Pruning Contest! The Pruning Contest was created to recognize Napa’s farmworkers and let the world know how important they are to the quality reputation of Napa Valley vineyards. Winners will again take home: cash; top-of-the-line vineyard tools; and many other prizes. The top pruners of each division also receive the coveted Pruning Contest champion belt buckle, designed especially for the occasion by Max Lang Custom Buckles.

  1. Sensory Friendly Library Hour

    February 3, 2018, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Napa Main Library

    Sensory Friendly Library Hour is a before-hours library use time designed for children ages 10 and younger who have a difficult time in large groups, are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, or other special needs. This browsing time allows our youngest patrons and their families to access the Children’s Room and associated services in a low-sensory environment with reduced lighting and noise. Please note that the patron computers and the areas and services outside of the Children’s Room will not be available for use during this time.     The Ohana Wa’a Outrigger Canoe Club was established in 2005. Their mission is to perpetuate the Hawaiian “Aloha Spirit” by treating one another, the ocean, and the earth with respect.
