Sensory Friendly Library Hour is a before-hours library use time designed for children ages 10 and younger who have a difficult time in large groups, are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, or other special needs. This browsing time allows our youngest patrons and their families to access the Children’s Room and associated services in a low-sensory environment with reduced lighting and noise. Please note that the patron computers and the areas and services outside of the Children’s Room will not be available for use during this time. To request more information or to sign up for this month’s Sensory Friendly Library Hour, please contact Althea Kent at 707-253-4070 or [email protected]
